About the Track

This track is a very special collaboration with the German rapper Brojs (Johannes Stemler). While Brojs wrote the heartfelt lyrics and delivered the vocals, I worked on the composition and production to bring this emotional journey to life.

‘Du bist anders’ (which means “You are different”) tells the story of a unique love that stands out from the crowd. It’s a romantic German Pop-Rap track that doesn’t just focus on the beats, but on a deep, personal message that leads to a happy ending.
The Sound & Production

To match the emotion of the lyrics, I combined a gritty, distorted synth bass with a trap-influenced drum kit featuring rapid hi-hat rolls and a punchy kick. To balance the energy with the romantic theme, I brought in a clean piano melody and synthesized trumpet stabs during the bridge and outro.
